Running 285/70/17's would be almost identical to running 285/75/16's which almost all the 4wd peeps on this forum do. The 17's measure in at 32.708" whereas the 16's measure in at 32.83". So the 16's are just ever so slightly taller. Width is the same. So based on this information I do not anticipate any problems whatsoever. If you do get some rub, then you could crank the torsion bars a hair or so.

In regards to pics, you will probably have better luck locating the 16" size I noted earlier. I can't recall 1 pic of anyone with 17" wheels. Just remember, yours will have more rim than tire, but should give a good representation.

I've got that size on my crew cab. They look good. I'm thinking of going up one more size when these wear out. I've got pictures on my other computer. I'll see if I can transfer them over.
