Got that message on the speedo dial a couple of times this week on our 2008 Tahoe but it goes away after shut off and restart. I have a failing TPM sending unit (battery end life) but I can't imagine that has anything to do with it. Any ideas?

A local auto store should read codes for free. They might not be doing it due to Covid.

Thanks. I think I wouldn't want them to for the same reason. It's hit or miss around here on the parts store workers attitudes about the current covid situation.

A tool is never a bad thing to own. My current one just doesn't go to the srs/abs level.

Oh yea, low voltage will trigger all sorts of codes. Had this happen to my Buick on a brand new Wallmart battery that came with a dead cell :) . Mine was low oil pressure. There's a scare. New battery that would stay above 9.5 volts and the world was good.

Also same car has an intermittent passenger side bag alarm and fails to activate with a passenger every time. Pressure switch is in the seat pad. It's also a grand for my car. 2009.
