Is it Tuned

New on here, I bought a 2009 5.3 SLE GMC Sierra.

The previous owner bought it Brand New of the Dealership.Its a 4×2 crew cab. When he gave me the title it showed 12miles. The truck is super clean inside and out. I put a 3" leveling kit, cold intake, msd wires, AC Delco Iridium plugs, exhaust.The truck drives Good until you floor it, Freaking thing moves and it does not cut off at 98. I have had a bunch of trucks, new and old but this 2009 gmc has me thinking. I think I just answered my own question The truck has somekind of programmer or tune. 

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Yup has a tuner.  Which means it could be more worn out than a stock truck would be.

I tuned all my trucks. Before there was electronic tuning I put in B&M shift kits. Usually headers, intake and a Holley carburetor. Unless you take them to the drag races every weekend. I had another car for that. There’s not much difference in day to day driving that’s going to wear it out faster. You can only go so fast on the street or you’ll be walking. I want firm shifts, a little intake noise and a little more response. The general look of the vehicle will give a good indication on its treatment. My last purchase was a 19 year old truck at a new car dealership with a car fax and complete maintenance history. Not a third rate tote your note lot. If a tune came with it that would have been one less thing for me to buy.
