The battery drains in an hour. Battery light comes on when vehicle is shut off and stays on. Light goes off if I pull "TBC IGN 0" fuse (10A) which I believe is the Body Control Module. My question is... Can the truck be run in the daytime without that fuse as a stop gap measure until it can be fixed?

Have you load tested the battery? If battery tests good the you got to do a parasitic draw search

Parasitic draw of 108mA through the 40A Ignition A fuse under the hood of my 2004 Escalade. Has anyone had this issue?  Change the Ignition Switch and there was no change in the parasitic draw of 108 mA. Battery starts to die in 45 min to an hour. FRUSTRATED!!!

Once you determine what fuse is associated with the parasitic draw, then you have to start disconnecting the individual electrical items that are controlled by that circuit. So you look up all the items that are disabled when that fuse is blown, and then disconnect those items one by one, while monitoring the draw after each item is disconnected.

Replacing the ignition switch is not part of the diagnostic process.
