took the plunge

Hi everyone! New to this forum, well been hanging around a few weeks and finally decided to join up, tons of information. Used some comments in my decsion to by a new truck. Sold off my 98 GMC Sierra and picked up a brand spanking new 2004 Silverado 2500 LT. Wanted the Duramax but could not afford the extra they wanted here in Canada for it. About a 8-10 thousand dollar option. But got the 6.0 ltr gas version. Love it so far!!! Nice ride and lots of power. Gas milage does not seem allot different then the 98 half ton. Good thing.

Looking at picking up a fifth wheel this winter to go camping with, looks like the truck should have the power to pull<G>

Anyhow, just thought I would drop a HI in and say thanks for the little tips and such I picked up prior to joining!

Well that 5th might pull ok behind the 6.0 but when u do it you will be thinking to yourself why didnt I get the 6.6 or 8.1

Anyway sounds like a cool truck

Welcome to the club. TONS of great info on here. Sounds like you picked up a great truck, hope you love it as much as we love ours. IF you can, post some pics when you get them!
