Is there a speed volume control for the radio? I can't seem to find it.

 

Also, is there a setting for Honk feedback when using the remote start? I see lights flash, but not honk. It would be nice to hear a honk from the house

There is.  I have adjusted mine, but off the top of my head cannot remember exactly the steps I took to get into it.  

 

I lock the doors before I remote start, get the short honk when locking the doors.  I have not tried remote start without locking the doors first.

If you press the check button on the right, it will give you the audio options.

On the head unit, you have two knobs.  The one on the right should have a check symbol in the middle of it.  Press that button, and it should bring up the audio options.  From there you should see the option to change speed setting volume control.

This reminds me I need to look into the chirpy honk that cause eyes to dart to me when I exit my truck while its running.   Ive had a few look at me like im honking at them.

now, how about text messages. I do not get any notifications and cannot have them read. Is this not possible on this new system?
