onebadtexan19 Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 Alright guys, just wondering if anyone knows why my truck is doing this, or if any of y'all have experienced this, too. I have a 2014 chevy high country 2wd l83 5.3. Truck has 133,000k on it, I've never had a problem with it using oil. But I recently took a trip to Dallas and on the way back to my house, I notices my truck would shake every now and then. I tried to figure it out. I noticed it only did this when it went from v4 to v8. Feels like its downshifting when it changes from v4 to v8. But its not shifting! Is it a bad lifter?
CamGTP Posted September 21, 2020 Posted September 21, 2020 It's possible. One of them might not being coming back online and the truck misfires are few times before it runs smooth again. Without driving the truck and feeling it, it's tough to really say.
