I had this happen about a week into owning the truck.  I loaded a large amount of long deck boards into the bed and once unloaded I noticed the camera popped out.  Appears these tailgates are not very rigid and must have a decent amount of flex.  Popped it back in and have not had an issue since (I do use a hitch mount bed extender now to take some load off the tailgate).

Say it with me now...aluminum...

That over with...

I would try popping it back in first.  If it keeps popping out, the retainer clip # is 11611554.  I'd get a couple and replace them and see if it happens again.  If you are under warranty still, see if the dealer can get some clips and replace them.

Not sure if the Ford Forums have any reported issues with their aluminum gates.  I know that Ford uses a 600lbs direct on the gate weight limit evenly on the gate for the aluminum gates.  GM steel gates were/are 1000lbs direct weight evenly on the gate.
