Well, my 3500 LTZ was delivered this evening. Having come from HD’s, then a Trail Boss, I really like the sturdy feel returning to an HD. The Trail Boss was nimble; and the 5.3 had plenty of power. Going to 6.6 gas, it feels strong and the 6 speed is smooth (despite having fewer gears than the 8 speed in my trail boss).  I did notice the door weight sticker which was so popular seems to be gone for  2021 - anyone know why??

Congrats on delivery of your new truck. It looks good especially with the roof lights. I am still waiting on a build date for my 2021 GMC Sierra 3500 I ordered 7 weeks ago.

I haven't heard that door stickers are gone.

AFAIK there should still be two on the B pillar.

Congrats on a beautiful ride. Among other things , its nice to have a larger size bed I bet . Especially with the T1 HD's having a 6'9 bed.

Question for you is how much different odes this ride then your half ton ? In terms of harshness? Would you say its quite a bit rougher or a little bit ?

Thank you! To be honest, on rutted or bumpy roads, it rides a bit rougher (as would be expected when unloaded). The rear end tends to not have much “give”. But, it’s not extreme by any means.  On the highway, over less severe road imperfections, I believe it rides better; feeling very solid and more stable. I’d also note I did get the HD front “springs” (not the snowplow prep; which increases torsion bar size one increment (I think). Even with that, I actually prefer the ride and road feel over the former Trail Boss. I noticed during the warm trend in PA, this was with rear tires at 85 pounds and front at 65.
