I have a 2013 Yukon (5.3L) 2WD with 111k miles. I had my check engine light come on and the code was P0430. I took it to the dealership and they said I had a bad o2 sensor and possibly clogged catalytic converters. They wanted way too much money to fix it so I just got the o2 sensor fixed. There had been no drivability issues up and until that point. Then about 150 miles later it came back and I got the code read again and it was the same code. I ran some high test gas through it and it went away. Then over the last  1.5 months the check engine light has come on several times and then gone off. Each time it was the same code as before. I ran some sea foam too it to try to clear anything out.   Up until now I had not noticed any drive-ability issues.  Then about 10 days ago the light came back on. At that point it had been off for 400 miles approximately. I got the code read and then the same as before. But I also noticed  drive-ability issues . It has reduced power,  and the  engine is running rough. It dosnt sound good and when driving it sounds loud in the cabin. I’m worried I have bad catalytic converters. Do you guys know anything?

If the same code is coming back time and time again, the cat converter is on it's way out.

They will have to be replaced to stop the code.
