2021 AT4 removable carpet inserts?

I may be one of the few, but I personally like these mats with the snap out carpet.  Easy to take out when I go hunting, etc., then easy to put back in when I get home for day to day use.

 

One complaint - mine has a gap where the mat fits over the drivers side “footrest” for your left foot. Was thinking about cutting some foam, etc, to attach to the under side of the mat to fill that gap.  Its annoying as I do use that for my left foot and it feels “mushy”.  Anyone else notice this???
