Well atleast mine just sits in the garage all of its life

Mine has been sitting more than usual for sure. I've put on almost 4k miles in 5 months. I work from home so I dont have a commute, but my truck is the family vehicle for weekends and stuff. I average about 12k a year. This year will definitely be less.

I have 30k miles o mine and my defrost is like that.... I am having the dealer change the button cluster under warranty.

Looks like the backlight circuitry on these is bad

Question for the guys who had their units replaced. Do all of you have the dual climate control unit or has anyone had this issue with the base, single zone climate unit? I have the base unit and all of the lights work, but I'm just curious because this will be something else to keep my eye on if this also affects the unit I have.

2018 with 30K miles.  My recirculate light started flashing last week and is out now.  Guess I’ll see about getting it replaced with my next oil change...

I just realized that I still haven’t gotten a call from the dealership letting me know the part came in. It was on backorder when I had them look at it around the middle of December. Wonder if it’s still on backorder or if they just forgot about me. Guess I’ll be calling tomorrow to find out.

Just got back from having the part replaced. All fixed now. I called the dealership on Monday and asked if the part has come in yet since its been a month and a half. After being on hold for a few minutes he comes back and says it just got delivered last Friday and they just haven't had a chance to call me yet to schedule a time to come in. Hmmmm. Coincidence? I don't think so, and I think I got lost somewhere under the parts counter. Im glad I called to double check. Anyway, I made the appointment for today and just got back. So we're all good now.

just got mine fixed during my last visit.   dealer had the truck for a week waiting on the part though.   had already removed the old one before they realized it was on backorder.

all fixed now ..... it was getting really annoying when the defrost backlight was flashing at night.

    • Can ask that about a lot of places.   Holiday sells 91 for $1 over 87 octane. BP 93 is 80 cents. Amoco 93 is 80 cents Kwik Trips is $1.20 for 92 or whatever they have and $1 for the 91.   I know that this is not exactly same as what you are saying with the premium to premium debate of those two stations but why is there such a difference. Top Tier this and that, it's all BS. All the fuel comes from the same damn refinery, so give me a break.
    • Why does Mobil Premium cost 90 cents a gallon more than Shell Premium when their regular offerings are but pennies apart?
    • Was all the way down to $3.69 a gallon but then jumped back to $3.99 just because for some reason.   Diesel floats between $4.80's to $5.10ish a gallon. I even saw Diesel #1 for $6.09 today but nobody in there right mind even buys that in the summer.
    • Mine just keeps lagging or getting stuck on the reverse camera. When I turn off the truck, get out, and close the door it will still stay on. It’s very intermittent and I would not be able to duplicate the issue.
    • I was checking out fuel prices at my farm fuel retailer at their pumps and yes the farm price is a bit lower than the non dyed fuel and was glad to see that the regular farm gas price has dropped a lot from what it had been but what blew me away was the price of diesel as the spread now compared to before the prices went up earlier in the year, diesel was actually slightly lower than gas which was a switch from the theme the last number of years. However that sure isn't the theme lately and definitely not right now. The prices I will post are not from that retailer but just looking at gasbuddy for the main city in this area and instead of posting the lowest price someone found I will list the higher price ( and that may not be the highest price, just whatever someone posted on gasbuddy ).   So regular gas and there are a lot of stations listing the same price for regular is 1.68 a liter, premium 2.00 a liter. Diesel 2.03 a liter for a top price I saw on diesel.   Figures out to 6.36 a us gallon Canadian funds for regular and 7.68 for diesel. With the US exchange rate it would be 4.58 us for regular and 5.53 for diesel.    Thought I would figure that out to get a picture of what it settles out like compared to various US prices and its about the same as the current price in Fairbanks AK as Anchorage tends to be lower. So yes, these would be the prices and higher along the way on the Alaska highway where they know they have a captured market !, for fuel prices for those beginning the long drive back to the lower 48   The problem is our Canadian dollar and going to the states that have the high prices, boy do we pay then !
