Anyone else have a rattling sound coming from the headliner area? This usually happens at cruising speeds on the highway.

I had something very similar when my truck was new...obviously your headliner is a tad longer than what they comes in a truck, but I'm sure it's still secured the same way.

I had that very annoying rattle that bugs the ****** out of you. Mine seemed to be coming from above and behind my seat in the overhead. Mostly on the freeway, but also in town over certain bumps. After a little troubleshooting, the headliner felt more solid on the passenger side as compared to the drivers side around the sunroof. I just started pushing up on the headliner, starting at the front corner of the sunroof (above the drivers seat) and it clicked in. It took quite a bit of force, but it popped in...I worked it towards the rear of the sunroof...another click.

The headliner on the drivers side now felt solid like it did on the passenger side...and that annoying rattle was gone...

This may or may not be what is causing your issue? But, if it is, this simple fix might help...

I bought a 2021 Tahoe 3 days ago. First pain point was rear entertainment system (save yourself and don't do it). Second, this rattling that is happening round the sunroof. I think it is on the driver side. When the rattle starts, my daughter will push up on the headliner and the sound stops. My 3 day old Tahoe goes into the shop tomorrow. I am starting to have buyers remorse.

Anyone else having this issue? My '21 CPO Yukon Denali has the rattling/creaking sound above my head in the liner and it's driving me batshit crazy. Would love to fix it myself, but no matter how hard I push up on it, nothing clicks into place. Really don't want to have to bring it in for this because I have zero confidence they're actually recognize the issue and fix it...

Welp, was told by the dealership that this issue is not covered under the CPO B2B warranty and for me to take it back where I bought and have them fix it. They tried to charge me $1,200 for the repair. When I refused, they 1st tried to charge me a $200 diagnostic fee, then a $100 diagnostic fee, then finally they waived it all together. WTF. Feel like the buck is being passed here. Am I crazy? As per GMC's CPO website the only restrictions on the B2B warranty are as follows:

• Tire damage or wear

• Damage due to bedliners

• Damage due to accident, misuse or alteration

• Collision, fire, theft, freezing, vandalism, riot, explosion or objects striking the vehicle

• Misuse of the vehicle such as driving over curbs, overloading, racing or other competition. (Proper vehicle use is discussed in the Owner's Manual.)

• Alteration or modification to the vehicle, including the body, chassis or components, after final assembly by Chevrolet, Buick or GMC.

• Coverages do not apply if the odometer has been disconnected, its reading has been altered or mileage cannot be determined.

• Damage or corrosion due to environment, chemical treatments and/or aftermarket products

• Damage due to insufficient or improper maintenance

• Damage due to contaminated or poor-quality fuel

I'm not seeing where it says an issue due to a factory defect (which, they confirmed is the issue might I add) is excluded.

FYI, I've had a case opened with GMC on this since the 9th. They've been good about keeping me updated, but as of today (8/18) they still haven't received a response from the dealership justifying the refusal. Brutal.
