Hey all! So my 2017 silverado has been having this electrical issue thats baffling me as well as the local dealerships. So theres really 2 parts to the issue, the first is that as im driving down the interstate my radio and AC center lighting will dim or cut out completely and sometimes my windshield wipers will cycle and sometimes ill lose power steering for a second or two. The other part is when im parking, as i back into or pull forward in a parking spot when i turn the steering wheel all lighting on the vehicle will dim or cut out completely and ill fully lose power steering and sometimes lose engine power, on one occasion my truck stalled while parking.

Im in the navy so i dont have time to troubleshoot everything i can think of and im very concerned because this is my only vehicle and i have to drive it to base everyday in norfolk in heavy traffic. All help is appreciated!

Therte was a TSB for badly made main battery cables, also theres a TSB for several improper grounds up under the dash.

id highly susupect the system has poor grounds and causing power to drain from other places causing issues.

Eli, give this thread a look. Try measuring the voltage drop across your negative battery cable. Also, give a look to the positive cable. Hopefully this will shed some light for you.
