09 silverado plonk noice from engine

Hi so on my 09 silverado 1500 4x4 i have noticed a weird plong noise coming from under the hood when i turn the truck off.

 

just wondering if anyone else out there has had the same issue and/or if anyone can help me resolve this issue is noticed.

Think I may found what the issue was:

Urban Dictionary : Plong

 

Placing your ba$$s above the waist of trousers, but beneath your tshirt, and then lifting up your tshirt to reveal your ba##s to random strangers shouting "PLONG".

Maybe he was doing that to close to his truck and they got caught in something
