Tire size

Recommended Posts

Damn now you guys are confusing me. What do you guys think of the toyos? We just had a few good snow storms in nyc and the surrounding areas so I’m gonna ask the guys what they thought of the coopers after the storm. Last I looked all three tires I’ve mentioned are about the same price. So that’s not an issue.

So I’m about to pull the trigger on some falken wildpeaks at3. My dilemma like most is the size. I’m ptting them on stock 18’s which are 265/65/18. I’ve added rear blocks and a two inch level to the front and have 1 1/2” spacers as well. I drive 70 % highway. I do go into the woods at times and also get snow here in NY. I’m approaching 30k on the stockers and after these freak snowstorms I’ve lost faith in them. So, I also want to fill in the gap a bit and was looking at 275/70/18 but then saw 265/70/18 for $150 cheaper. Is there much of a difference? Im thinking the thinner tires would be better for highway and snow. I’m assuming they’ll both fit. I’ve been trying to find side by side to compare. Help me decide. And although one is cheaper then the other I’m not too concerned with price. I just want to be happy in the end. Thanks
