Interior Overhead Lights.

Since the interior lighting is so dim in these trucks, has anyone replaced them or the bulbs? If so, with what and how did you do it? I'm sorry if this has been asked before. I tried searching first as well.

They are a board soldered LED chip.  Unless you have circuit board soldering skills they are nor upgradable.  I plan on adding a Baja Designs Rock Light  to my overhead for more light.  I just did this to my older 2500HD and it worked great.

I thought about ordering the F150 ambient lighting kit and installing just so it’s not so damn dark in there. And they would come on with the interior lights, hooked up with a relay to tie them in.

I added this 'Hella-light" to my top console.  I replaced it with a LED bulb.   If you want more info I'd be happy to share.
