Exhaust gasket?

i crawled under the truck today to check out a vibration that i have been hearing. i noticed that there was a water leak between 2 sections of exhaust pipe (its right where the two pipes off the engine combine into one pipe before the muffler). is there some sort of gasket between these 2 pieces that should be stopping this? could this lack of gasket be causing my vibration?

I just asked this question last week at the parts counter of a local dealer, if there was a gasket at that location. (Mine wasn't leaking but was asking because I need to change the cats and wanted to know how this was all put together.) From what I was told there is no gasket and it is a metal to metal connection at that point.

 

Maybe yours is loose, but before I would tighten it I would definately soak those bolts with a rust penetrator. Don't want to snap them off.
