Remove phone from infotainment screen

How can I remove a phone from my infotainment display screen? I never connected it and the system must have detected it (Apple iPhone) somehow and displayed it, but I don't want it displayed.

I have an Android phone. I did not like Android Auto. I disabled it through my phone settings.

I just did a quick internet search & several articles came up on disabling Apple Car Play.

Go into settings, choose the phone category and delete the phone.

That was the first thing I tried. The next time I got in the truck, the phone auto reconnected again.

Then try having the phone forget the truck.

Thru Bluetooth or CarPlay?  You can forget all phones (which I use when I return a loaner) which clears all of the phone settings.

 

What Logo is showing in the infotainment screen when it "sees" the phone?

 

I assume you have saved a User Profile?  If not, the radio will seek out devices to connect.
