Have a 2011 Silverado how do I reprogram so light go’s off?

If the check engine light is on that means there is a problem. Once you fix that problem the light could go off. You'll need a OBD2 scan tool to figure out the code, see what is wrong and do a repair if needed. From there the scan tool can clear the trouble code and you can wait to see if the problem comes back.

Scan the codes.  Fix whats causing the codes.  Boom, light goes off.

Go to autozone and borrow their scanner to see what the code is, many times it is very simple and 1000 things can cause it to turn on.

Get the code come back on here and tell us what it is.

Don't start throwing parts at it.

IGMO: Just put a small piece of electrical tape over the warning light and keep driving until it won’t go anymore.
