Since you don't seem able to read and comprehend very well.

***News Flash I have a 2021 2500 LTZ way to read. ***

Take your condescension elsewhere.

Its functional and looks the part as far as im concerned.  Your the one that says it does not but have never once given a specific answer as to why.

Well your signature says 2012 you might want to change that.  Could care one wit about my condescension here.

Bottom line is I am not alone in my thoughts.  I have pointed it out this truck is a cross between an 07 and 14 chevy I had,  also point out its along the same lines as 4-5 year old ford,  some specific examples is the gauges are pathetic looking for that truck,  still using that gray/silver plastic trim that they have been for a decade, along with most panels look similar to the K2 stuff.  If you like it great,  im not saying I hate it.   All I am saying is GM needs some new designers and catch up with the times

My feeling is if you are going to the dealer and buy a truck get what you want.  If you need to have a specific interior then get a truck with it.  Getting something that has certain options and then complaining about it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.

Honestly though I have no clue what other trucks have for interiors as I have never even considered anything but a Chevy.  Also, I could really care less about the interior.

All trucks Ive had there is things I didnt like.  And when buying something there is the exterior, the power train, cost, and frankly specially right now availability.  Ive owned all of the big three( 5, fords, 3 chevys, and 1 ram)  I would always suggest people shop the competition to see whats out there,  for example GM kept the GMT900 series around way to long and buying one of those near the end would have been really dumb, compared to what else was on the market.  Even then the K2s were really behind the times even when they first came out.  Finally it looks like they have caught up some.

Take it for a grain of salt,  I like the truck, and there is things I dont like.  The interior just simply doesnt match up to others, I knew that going into.

I guess there will always be things we don't like about our vehicles. But I am a Chevy guy thru and thru so looking at other options for me is pointless. I know what I want and don't want. The things I don't like are generally things that don't matter much to me anyway. Can haul wood? Can't it tow my toys? Will it be reliable?  All yes from prior experience,  the rest is just gravy to me

No i get you and you like what you like.  And like you said performance is paramount.  I just know my 2014 silvy was way behind my 15 ford I had.  GM finally in IMO closed the gap to Ford the last few years overall,  in past they seemed to always be 5 years behind,  now that gap is much smaller

When I bought my '19 Denali HD, it was parked next to a '19 1500 Denali.   I actually liked the K2 interior better - the center stack, the knobs instead of buttons, and the gauge cluster.

Calling GM 5 years behind is spot on.  Anyone who disagrees should go drive a F250 Lariat.  See what you get with the Lariat (= LT/LTZ) value package.  It's pretty sad how far behind GM is on these things.  Adding a console shifter isn't the solution, either.

I'm considering a new Suburban Z71, but the gauge cluster holds me back.  It's the one thing I'm constantly looking at!  The Expedition XLT has a much better interior!

I wish they had the console shifter I miss that.  I got the bucket seats so have this big consol trey that just looks odd, no cover, so seperation.

I love this truck I really do, its sweet.  But in a normal economy and pricing I wouldnt buy it again down the road,  given what others offer.
