Let me guess, the test truck was an FX4?

 

The FX4 model is so ugly. The XL is nice, but not the best Ford has made.

 

Time to bring back the '80-'97 (HD) models.

 

Edit...looks like the tester was a Lariat...not really any better.

I lost all faith in Motor Trend after they picked the redesigned Caprice Classic as their Car of the Year.

Well, it's all who pays MT the most, really.

 

But as much as I have a disdain for Ford, I'm happy they paid more than Nissan did! The big three need to join forces instead of fighting each other and drive these guys out of their foothold market.

 

They let them into the car market with little battle, Then the minivan market because Dodge was the only strong player, now they're taking on what the Big 3 do best, REAL trucks. Not the car based crossover variety.

 

They should all be combining forces and delivering a swift blow between the legs of Nissan and Toyota and send them back before it's too late.

 

That's just CMNT's biased opinion.
