summitcounty99 Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 I recently purchased the Eibach 2.0 coil overs, I wanted to ask how folks feel about them in general. At 62,00 miles on my Silverado, I thought it would be a great idea to eliminate the stock Rancho shocks. Thanks! Rob
1stepcloser Posted June 29, 2021 Posted June 29, 2021 I installed Eibach's Pro Truck kit last October with 75k miles; while not the 2.0 kit, they were a huge improvement over the stock worn out shocks and coils. I also added Rough Country's upper control arms; I strongly recommend them if you are raising the front. The arms, in addition to being heavier, are designed to prevent the control arm topping out on the frame. I have long been a fan of Eibach suspension, they have been a leader in the field for a long time. 1 1
summitcounty99 Posted June 30, 2021 Author Posted June 30, 2021 That’s awesome, I’ve only been hearing great things about Eibach. The 2.0 coilovers should be a nice improvement for my Silverado. I will look into the upper control arms, as I would want to lift the pickup 2.5” in the front, and add a 2” block for the rear; along with rear shocks as well. If you don’t mind me asking, what size tire do you have on your pickup? -Rob
1stepcloser Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 I'm running 285/70/17 Cooper ST Maxx. The Eibach kit gave me about 2.5" of front lift and I didn't add anything to the rear. Truck sits nice and level, the tires clear with no issue. no trimming was needed.
summitcounty99 Posted July 5, 2021 Author Posted July 5, 2021 Awesome man, any chance you would know what the motion ratio would be for a 2014 Silverado? The new 2.0 coilover kit does not tell you specifically what your lifting the truck at. They say it’s pre set to level out with the back. Long story short, in case I need to adjust the coil, I need to know the motion ratio to compensate the raise? -Rob
IronVilkas Posted July 13, 2021 Posted July 13, 2021 I also have the pro truck kit with the upgraded coil springs. I got kryptonite UCAs and I love the setup. My brother liked it so much he got the same suspension but went with motofab UCAs. Both very pleased with Eibach. I would imagine the coilovers are going to be great. 1
