I'm looking to swap out my rear end out of my 99 Tahoe 4x4 and was just trying to see what I could swap with easy and cheap I can get a rear end out of a 05 Tahoe 4x4 just don't know if it will work

you should be able to find a pull a part with your year no problem.  I am not sure about the tahoe, but silverado underwent a few changes in 99, where as there was the 99 classic, and 99 newstyle. I think that went up to 02.  The best thing you can do is search your vin number, find out what gear ratio you have, and search compatible rears.

Also make sure you get the right gear ratio for your front end to match if it's a 4 wheel drive. You can check the ratio in your glove box on your RPO  Build sticker. It will have a code like GU6(3.42)GT5(4.10) or something similar. G80 means you have a limited slip. 

Edit- after some looking the 99 Tahoe is still the OBS so I think if I remember right the 05 is slightly different in width. And then there's brake differences and all kinds of little odds and ends. Should be easy to find one in the pull n save nearest you for a couple hundred bucks.
