Question
dismayedfromNevada
Hello folks. Purchased a 2107 Chevy Colorado Duramax Diesel ZR1 not long ago with 37K on the odometer. In preparation for a 2,000 mile trip from California to Idaho across Nevada and 100F pulling an RV trailer, I replaced the tranny fluid, and the engine oil with Mobile 1. On trip up to Idaho, everything was fine. On the way back, about half way, the AC pretty much stopped working. The air coming out was a little cooler than the outside air, but was not cold as it would normally be. I didn't see any line freezing when I popped the hood. After about 200 miles, I started playing with the controls a bit, and it wasn't until I pushed the AC button a few times until .... presto .... I was getting cold air again. No problems since. Any ideas???
