I think a 95 Grand Prix tired to race me

There was this 95ish Grand Prix with flowmasters driving crazy, and we ended up next to each other at a stop light(I was armed with the 325is) and he looked over at me. My response was "oh, pleezzzzzzzzz" as I am familiar with those older 3.1 GP's, great cars all around, but not for performance without serious cash. So I make a very lesiurely 1200 RPM start, shifted at 3500RPM until I got to third, and was just pulling away. I felt bad, cause I it looked like the exhaust was new and we were a block away from a performance muffler/exhaust shop that sell's flow's, so I just backed off. Mind you the sweet spot for launch is 3600 RPM and the power sweet spot is 5000+ RPM. Just didn't have the heart to finish off a GM guy in a Grand Prix 3.1 that he was tuning, as I once had the idea for a 350 HP 3.1(yes, it can be done). At least is wasn't riced!

I doubt he'll ever try that again. and if he does, I'll have plenty left.
