air/fuel ratio

how can I adjust or fix my air/fuel ratio on my 305 vortec?

 

its running 10/1 and I thought it was supposed to run around 14/1.

 

any ideas?

You might need to replace the O2 sensor.

12.9 to 13.1 is best

Ditto, I'd check the oxygen sensor to start.

 

And as mentioned above, the target A/F ratio for a naturally aspirated engine is around 13:1. My camaro makes its best power (safely) at 13.2.
