I have a 2017 Silverado with a 6.2 that has a code po305. I have changed plugs wires fuel injectors and have switched coils. Nothing changed. Have done a compression test and over 160. But still had the same code. Does anyone have an idea.

Are all the other cylinders the same compression wise?

You for sure don't have a broken valve spring?

Worst case is that it could be lifter/camshaft related.

I don't see any mileage info, since it is "Direct Injection", (fuel doesn't spray the back of the valves) have you tried doing a top engine clean, could be a bad build up on the #5 cyl intake valve, if it is real bad, you may have to pull the intake to clean and or see.
