Looking for a web site

Does anyone ever remember seeing a website where someone had a few pictures of their garage. It was immaculate looking; garage doors on each end, tiled, cabinets, countertops, computer, sink, and room for like 5 vehicles. I think he may have kept Corvette's in there, but I can't remember.

Anyway, if anyone has the lnik, could you post it? I'm wanting to show it to a friend. :fume:

d**n that is a luxed out garage!

Ours is constructed of cinder blocks and concrete...and not enough space. We just barely got a 2WD F-150 Super Cab inside of it...with maybe like two inches to spare. Oh well, at least we have one!

That's definitely a garage. I wish I had the cash to get a house with a larger yard and room for a detached...I had the builder make my attached 4ft longer and 2 ft wider to fit the rado...I think I'm about 24x24 now vs. the standard size. Since I've moved in, we put about 5-6 outlets down each wall, 2 fixtures up front near the door for 1 bulb each, and 2 tracks of 3 lights each at the back...the attic is now insulated and I purchased a small heater from Home Depot. The smart moves were having the builder rough in a gas line, put in a floor drain, and allow us to insulate the walls during construction.

The basement is on the future projects list, but now that the garage has drained my wallet and energy, it'll be a bit.

While not quite as fancy as the Corvette one, here are a couple pics of my garage. I built it myself three years ago. I'll try to get some better pictures of the inside. Current features:

30x40

Oil heat (forced hot air), woodstove backup

Bathroom

Beer fridge (built into the workbench)

Cable tv

Stereo

Floor drains

Hot/cold running water

Parts washer

Compressed air

Ever growing tool collection

This was when I was building it:

This is the completed exterior:

This is a crappy interior shot- you can see the tv in the upper corner, the stereo speakers mounted on the wall, and my Willy's 3B project (very early picture- it's nearing completion now):

I keep the 3B, the Z-71, the Yukon, and the car inside every night.

Looks good Lance. It has to be nice to have the land and be able to design/build one to your own specs and needs. It was cool that they let us do the wall insulation on mine, because we put in as many outlets as I wanted(overkill), and I ran 1 of them in the corner off a separate breaker so I can run my compressor off it with no problems. I also have a tap for the hose out there, which is new to me. I did run the coax cable in mom and dad's garage, but not this one at this point...though in the old garage I didn't use it much. With the heat and everything here, who knows.
