Hypertech Power Programmer III Part Number 360202, for 1996 GM Trucks/SUVs with Vortec 4.3L, 5.0L, 5.7L, or 7.4L engines and any transmission.

To use simply plug the Power Programmer into the underdash diagnostic plug, answer a series of "Yes/No" questions, and the Power Programmer does the rest.

 

I used it on my 1996 GMC Jimmy, and then reprogrammed my truck back to stock before I sold it.
