I would like to install a race venom muffler on my 2018 GMC Sierra but I don’t know if I should delete the resonator and cats. I have the active fuel management delete so it stays in v8 all the time. This is my first newer truck I usually drive 80s & 90s model trucks, so I don’t know too much about this 2018

I highly suggest you leave the cats. For one you'd need a custom tune to delete them and they act as really really good resonators to stop the horrible rasp and drone that can come without them.

Leave the factory resonator for now and just do the muffler. To me it's better to do one thing at a time than 2 or 3 because you can actually find out if you like the sound before going to another step.
