2018 GMC Sierra - windshield wipers swipe when turning ignition

What’s up all,

 

This has literally been driving me nuts since it first started maybe 4-5 months ago. My wipers will make a single pass when starting the truck. Wipers are confirmed to be in the off position yet still activate. 
 

I’ve tested the multifunction switch and checked all fuses and functionality of body control module. Based on what I’ve read, it think it’s in the relay in the fuse box but haven’t gotten that far into diagnosing.

 

What do you think? 
 

I saw a couple threads come up on this same issue but didn’t appear to go anywhere.

I have the same issue.  I started when I would use my wipers, they would intermittently not RESET to their "OFF" position from time to time.  Then eventually, they stayed in a position as if they were on intermittent wipe.  Now they stay there and when I turn my vehicle on, they wipe once and while the dial is in OFF position.  I still haven't found the solution unfortunately.
