I recently replaced the hood on my silverado. I had a deer hit my truck from the side and after that my hood would be crooked. I thought replacing the dented hood and potentially bent hinges would help, but no luck. Does anyone know what I should check? The brackets that the hinges mount to could be bent, but I can't tell for sure. Picture below for reference.Snapchat-778553892.thumb.jpg.a6db206917bedaac348cfb808941a007.jpg

Perhaps the new hood is bent. Someone might have sneezed on it or something.

Anyway, assuming that the gap between he hood and grill is the issue, then I would bend it to fit the vehicle. Open the hood 1/2 way - and grab each corner in each hand. So one hand holds the front left corner, and one hand holds the front right corner. Then you pull down on one hand and push up on the other hand. Try tweaking it a few times, and see how it looks when its closed. Body panels are exceptionally pliable on the newer Chevys, ever since they started making them out of a that Reynolds Wrap brand aluminum foil.

You can actually dent the body panels by farting too close to them.

Have you tried the rubber adjusters underneath the hood?

#3 in the picture, one on each side of the radiator.
