Yeah I get the same thing since I’ve had my 22 chevy 2500. IOS infotainment. It’s very annoying I don’t have wireless charging so I plug in my phone anyway, I may just try to disable wireless CarPlay and see if it connects. So far best I could do is set up an automation that turns wifi off and then on again when CarPlay connects. It usually then forces a connect with the truck wifi. At least more consistently than not having it. But I need to play with that more.

Had the same issue with 2021 Yukon Denali and finally got it fixed.  Dealer replaced and reprogrammed the OnStar module and now it is working perfectly for last 2 weeks.  Used to disconnect CarPlay multiple time on way to work (in the same places), no longer any drops.  Hope this helps!.

Can somebody please tell me how you got your dealership to replace and reprogram the OnStar module? My dealership is refusing to do anything and keeps trying to tell me it’s my phone. It is not my phone, it’s the vehicle. HELP!!

Is there any way you can tell me which dealership you took it to? My dealership is saying they don’t see this issue in their database of “all logged vehicle issues” so it must not be real… and they refuse to look at this blog. I was hoping that if I could tell them the dealership you went to, they could call their service department and help coordinate an actual resolution.

I have a 2022 AT4 2500 and it has the same issues. It won’t connect when I’m in the truck, but if I leave the truck running and get out while I’m on the phone, then it connects to the truck and I’m missing the conversation, or they think I’ve hung up so they do the same. If I’m on the phone, it is continuously switching from handset to CarPlay, it makes it impossible to talk on the phone. If I turn everything off, it all comes back on and starts switching between the two again. It’s frustrating enough to make me buy a Ford, almost. I agree with the person who said the truck is too expensive for this crap not to work. I’ve been to the dealer and they’ve checked it, I’ve been on the phone with OnStar for hours trying to figure it out. Also, when I get in the truck, my phone will not automatically connect to the Wi-Fi. I have to open it, select my truck and then connect it. My phone connects to every other network it has ever been logged into automatically, except my truck. It’s aggravating to no end.

Alright y’all…I’m about to blow your minds with this one!!  It’s 5G interference!!  You know that thing you heard about in the news and the new 5G cell towers near airports interfering with aircraft radio altimeters…it’s the same thing.  MANY of you have stated that the Wi-Fi interference usually happens in the SAME places around town…next time look around…I bet you there will be a cell tower near by, then look at your phone…bet you’ll have full bars of 5G!!  I have a 2021 Silverado and the exact same thing happens to me.  If I wasn’t in aviation I wouldn’t have figured it out.  Nothing will fix it until GM updates the Wi-Fi equipment in the vehicles.

    • Because single shot injectors are ancient and multi hole injectors provide smoother running engines and sharper throttle response due to the fuel being atomized better..the best lead I have is a 24lb blue top injector almost everything matches up but the injector will put out about 26lb/hr which is just outside the gm threshold.figured id ask here to see if there was an absolute answer
    • Why is my question?   Any change in injectors requires a tune. Unless you are going back with the OEM part number or a newer part number of that same injector.   Any size difference or type difference like the EV6 style injectors all have different injector data for them. And there is no EV6 injector that matches the factory 25 lb/hr size that your truck comes with. I've been messing with these trucks and tuning them for a long time and what you trying to do doesn't exactly make sense to me.
    • My 6.6 gas lt8 had lifter noise with 28000 miles bought new 2026 and while driven to dealer it threw #1 rod bearing “HD my ass” good luck with yours i hope it don’t turn a rod bearing!
    • When a condition becomes a business model.    https://www.gm-trucks.com/gm-truck-suv-incentives-pricing-2026/   Zane posted this in "Latest Articles".    The honest bottom line   Truck buyers have spent three years assuming this is a temporary condition that will break once inventories normalize. GM just presented it to investors as a durable strategy, on a chart, as evidence of good management.   Inventory did normalize. GM is at 511,000 units and squarely inside its own 50 to 60 day target. The discounts still did not come back, because the low incentive number is the goal rather than a symptom of shortage.   Plan your purchase around that reality instead of waiting for it to change. Follow our ongoing GM News coverage for pricing and incentive changes as the next-generation trucks land.
    • Thought it was raining this morning when we woke. Nope. Dew point was over 80 F and humidity 98%. Zero visibility distance. Everything was 'sweating'. I've seen rain come out of clouds but never out of Pepper or the tree trunks.    Wicked storms just missed us sliding off to the east but by blocks. Heat index about 110 F with air temp in the 90's.    This is  our third wave this month of multiple days of this type of weather. And yet the grass is going dormant and the ground is cracking this side of the street and water up the the hood opposite. Just weird stuff going on.
