I have a 2021 AT4 which I absolutely love but I can't figure one thing out.  When I remote start the truck in cold weather, the truck will turn on the heated seats, heated steering wheel, and climate control features to warm the inside.  As soon as I press the pushbutton start, it all goes off.  I know that's by design because my Silverado does the same thing.  What's curious is that my Cadillac CTS-V has the same options but when I get in, all the climate features are on until I turn them off or adjust them.  It's such a nice feeling to get into a vehicle that stays warm instead of shuts all controls off when you press the start button.  The same thing happens in the hot months with the cooling features... Does anyone know if there is a way to program this into the new Sierras?

That's they they have always done those features in the trucks.

Not user selectable. (or dealer either as far as I know)

Like your caddy, our Acadia doesn't shut them off either.  So it seems to be a truck thing, not a divisional thing.

And if manually started (instead of remote) it will turn the comfort stuff on (and later off) automatically if it thinks it is necessary.

Nope. It is what it is. They go back to the existing settings that you had when you last ran the truck.

I personally prefer it this way. But it would be nice if they offered a setting to pick.

Nope, mine does the same and I haven't figured out how to keep them on either. It would be nice if some of this stuff had more thought put into it for what we pay.
