Hey guys, so I have been reading some of the other threads on this, however have not seen any where they had a truck lifted with the 6" BDS magneride lift, which is what I have. I went with the 6" magneride BDS lift because my truck does have the magneride shocks, however they are now going out on me and truck is riding rough, and I am really wanting to do the xineering delete kit and go with aftermarket shocks because I have read so many bad things about the magneride system, and with how expensive it is to replace, and that the truck will actually ride better with aftermarket shocks like fox 2.0 or bilsteins. So my question is, am I going to run into any issues being that my lift is the BDS magneride lift? I wouldn't think I would, but I wanna make sure before I pull the trigger. Any input would be appreciated! Thanks guys.

Why not ask bds?  They have amazing support.

So I just talked to BDS and they have not had this situation come up as of yet. He said I could go with a coilover up front and just do away with the spacer used in the lift, but obviously that is going to be the more expensive route. I asked if theoretically I could use an aftermarket front strut that is the same length and keep the spacer and he said he is not allowed to say that it would work, but theoretically it should work. The rear is not really an issue, as long as the shock is the same size it should be able to be replaced without an issue. But this is why I was wondering if anyone else had done this to get their input, but it sounds like it is a rare situation. Now wishing I had just deleted magneride when I picked the lift and had it all done at once. Unfortunate.

I was on the same fence this time last year and went back with the Magneride fronts because I found some under a rock for a very good price.  Only difference is that I have the Fabtech 6".

Everything I have read on multiple sites indicates that this should work w/o issue; difficult part would be choosing what to replace them with.
