Back up camera and under tailgate light bar

2016 Silverado Z71…Will adding an under tailgate light bar with reverse light help with the night time pixelation of the backup camera? Any other suggestions also welcome.

I have a Putco Blade light bar mounted under the tail gate.  I'm very happy with it.

Superdave160…Does it help the camera at night?

I added a led bar to the license plate.  Bright, an does help significantly with back up camera details.

Cmsmoke837: It puts out quite a bit of light.  I was planning on adding additional reverse lights in the bumper step pockets but I changed my mind when I saw how much light this put out.

I installed this yesterday and am thoroughly impressed! Light is right where I wanted it for the camera to see the hitch. It also helps seeing in the mirrors, but is more concentrated in the center. Great upgrade!

I know your question was asking about a lightbar providing more light when backing up. I don't have a lightbar, so I can't help you there. If you are looking for more light when backing up, I installed these rigid LEDs in the rear bumper steps. I will say, these lights are amazing. I would definitely recommend them.
