Could be your windshield. Take a water hose, have someone sit in the truck and just spray down the truck till you find the leak

Water leaks are a PITA to find. Most of the time when it seems to appear out of nowhere, it's usually running down the firewall from either a windshield leak as Evan mentioned, or some seam, or protrusion (like the HVAC box or steering column).

No manufacturer spends any time anymore looking for potential issues on modern vehicles - they build them as fast as humanly possible and blow them out the door. Could be water dripping off the hood directly onto the column, or something like that. Been seeing stuff like this in every brand these days. Used to be unheard of back in the day! I've got vehicles from 29 to 36 years old, and have owned 50 year old vehicles that never leaked a drop.

But with something 20 years old built in the 21st century, I'd put money on dried up windshield adhesive / sealer, especially since you're down south a bit. It happens up here in MA, so it'll most certainly happen down there with the higher UV load. At what age they fail all depends on what direction the nose was pointed when parked during the majority of its life. Facing the south is going to fail sooner than one that was parked facing north every day.

Do you have a sunroof? It could be an issue with the drain hose that runs down the A-pillar (either plugged, kinked, or detached drain hose). I could have sworn I saw a TSB for the Tahoe/Suburban/Yukon regarding this recently.
