I have a 2005 Sierra 2wd that has a loud front-end clunk. It originally started whenever I would go over sharp speed bumps but has recently progressed to normal driving over movement in the road. I had a shop take a look, and they said everything looks good. Today I moved the front end up and down by standing on the bumper and was able to replicate the noise I hear. I opened the hood while replicating the noise, and it sounds like it's coming from the area where the bumper attaches to the truck. I was thinking it had something to do with my suspension, but starting to think otherwise.

Many thanks.

That could be a number of things.  My first thought from the sound of it is a loose shock.  Or , like you said a loose bumper.  Also consider the bushing at the end of the steering down by the wheels.  I forgot the name of it.  I had that issue once and finally took it to a body shop I knew well.  The mechanics I'd taken it too couldn't locate it, but the body shop people did.  Since this is clearly showing up when you rock it; thats what I would do; see if a body shop can locate that.

first thought is your Suspension stabilizer Bar Bushing.  They are notorious for drying up and cracking.  That noise could be the bar hitting the metal of the Stabilizer if there is no rubber left in the bushing.  If not check the shocks.
