I have a 1995 silverado k2500 hd camper special with a tbi 350 and its a 880 block i am trying to figure out if its been replaced with a crate engine or a zz4 because of the 880 block, it has tons of power, and is very strong any one have any idea

Not sure there's any way to tell, since many crates are built off seasoned (used) blocks. If it were possible to trace the block numbers back to a particular vehicle, it wouldn't be yours in that case.

I miss the power delivery of the old 350 TBI engines! The LS can make stupid amounts of power, but it has to rev to 7 grand to get it. I miss the engine just lazily spinning to 4,500 RPM before a shift, and never wanting for more power. I used to kill modern cars off the line with my '94 K1500 regular cab. Only vehicle that ever got ahead of me from a stoplight was a Corvette in 4 straight years of commuting to the city. And believe me, everyone tries around here!

Only thing better was the big block. Makes 200 more ft.lbs. at idle than any LS. And both are 100x easier to work on! Hang on to that one, Benjamin!
