running board style steps

I don't know what they are called but they are about 8" wide and go from the backof the front wheel to the back of the cab. I want them not only as a step but to keep the mud and tire spray off the side of the truck. Any one ever seen any that mount to the trucks frame. 04 HD reg cab.

I just installed a pair of Road Quest Running Boards

that went from wheel well to wheel well. 2 piece, 80" front piece and a short

back piece. Took a while to install then but they look great, are very sturdy, and protect the bottom of the truck.

I put a set of Luverne stainless steel boards on my 2002 2500HD. They went on easily right out of the box. Didn't have to assemble anything, no silly universal brackets to assemble. Highly recommended.

The neighbors have these on their 04 crew. The ends are trimmed in black. Looking and holding up good so far.

Very sturdy boards, I might add. Installed in about an hour and a half with the aid of a floor jack to hold them in place while I drilled the mounting holes. In service for two years now with no complaints.

I installed a set of Westin's on mine...see link below. Bolt on with no drilling. Easy installation and have protected the cab and front of the box from gravel as I drive 80% on gravel roads.
