The 12v outlet on the dash is energized all the time. I would like it to deenergize when I turn off the engine. I have considered adding an additional 12v outlet and wiring it to the accessory side of a fuse panel. How do I accomplish either of these scenarios?

Wish I knew. I want to put some air horns on mine. Can't find enough room for the compressor or tank. And where to run the power from.

In the Instrument Panel Fuse Block Right (passenger side), move fuse F28 to F27 (note: center connector is common for both positions F27/F28.) F27 is Accessory power outlet/retained accessory power (RAP). All dash USB ports and 12v outlet will turn off when truck is shut off and driver's door is opened (or about 10 mins after truck is shut off if driver's door is not opened.)

If I wanted to add an additional circuit that would deenergize when I turned off the motor, where/how would I connect it in the fuse panel?

I have a 2020 gmc sierra 1500 slt and have a hood light I want to hook up. It connects to the acc fuse but it being on the passenger side and not under the hood is there another fuse I can use in the engine fuse box?
