New 2022 vs LTD interior materials/build quality and ordering

Much of the news on the new 2022 LT+ interior focused on the new instrument cluster and entertainment screen, but for those that know the new 22’s well, are there any differences in the interior material quality, specifically the LT?  Tighter, better fit and finish or is it mostly the same?

 

Also, does anyone know if the LTD is still available for fleet sale?  The chat on gmfleet said that orders will close in June, but I don’t know how well I trust that answer.

I'm pretty sure chat was referring to when they close the orders for the refreshed '22s -- fleet and regular.  

All three plants making 1500's are now building the 22.5's

 

 

Orders will close when they have taken enough orders to fill the remaining production slots available prior to model year change-over.  Sometimes orders taken late get replaced with a revised order for the next model year. 

 

Model year change-over is traditionally mid-summer, if there are not major product/production equipment changes happening.

I can't imagine the 2023s are any different than 2022.5 except colors and the new deezle.

My fleet management company is showing late August for the 2023 production start.

Agreed, but there still is a 'model year' change over. 

 

Even it it is just an update to the vin numbers....
