I have a 2014 Silverado 1500 LT with the stock 18" wheels. I've seen some conflicting information about what the stock backspacing is on the stock wheels. The zone 6.5" lift requires a 5" backspacing, but from what I've seen a few people say the stock wheels are a 5.75" backspacing. Is this true? If it is, couldn't I lift the truck then worry about wheels later? I am already running 33" Nitto's on the stock 18s, and I do plan to get new wheels eventually, but the Nitto's are new, and I don't want to throw away the money I spent on them just to jump up to a 20" wheel and 35's. Has anyone done a 6+ lift with stock wheels or would you need to add a ridiculous amount of spacers?

Im not sure about zone lifts but i have a fabtech and my stock 20" wheel would not fit on the front.  The new knuckles are too big and would scrape the wheel.  If i wanted to keep the stock id have to run a spacer.
