Hello,

So first off love my truck had almost 0 issues with it. just clocked over 270,000 KMs. i do all my own maintenance.

So Service stability Track come on intermittently - no service engine light has ever come on. only the triangle with stability track and traction control disabled come on.

So because no engine code has ever been lit. it reduces the amount of issues my issue is.

If I shut the truck off, start it again, all is good, stability track has no issues. So its very intermittent.

1. First I replaced the Steering Wheel position sensor - which for my 2009 truck is a discontinued part - So i was forced to replace with a 2010-2013 Part which all the comments said that many people had done this with no issues. drove a few days thought it was fixed. then it came back on one day.

2. So this time i jacked up the front end to look at the ABS sensors. This is when i noticed the Drivers side wheel had play up and down....so great I was happy as it must be the wheel bearing causing the Stability track issue

3. Replaced Both front wheel Hub assembly's, also replaced CV axels as i had torn boots.

4. drove a few days, no issues. thought it was fixed. of course it came back on

5. i have watched all videos, and read many forums. most issues relating to this will light an engine code. Which I have never had an engine code - TPS, Misfires, bad coil, bad ABS sensor....ect they all lite engine codes.

6. tested all 4 wheel ABS sensors with OHM meter. Seem good. Looked at ABS system connections all look good. Wires all physically look good

7. tested Brake control switch, its working fine. Cruise works so cant be that. I have replaced this about 1 year ago.

8. runs great no power issues, drives like a new truck still.

So I am at a loss to what to do now.

other than take it to a dealer to have the LOGs read, maybe it will tell me.

my code reader does not read the logs, only engine codes.

Anyone have any ideas on what to check next?

You may be throwing money/parts in the wrong direction. Tons of different trouble codes will give the Traction Control/Stabilitrak warning message, including engine codes.

You need a GM dealer or someone with a better scan tool.
