I have a 14 Chevy with the l86 6.2 and it has a cylinder 5 misfire code. The only time I can feel it miss is when it’s in gear and no throttle. Once you give it gas it seems to go away. Has check engine light but doesn’t flash. Any ideas?

Start with the basics. Like change the spark plug or at least inspect it.

If that doesn't fix it. Swap the spark plug wire with a different cylinder, see if it moves. If still the same, move the coil pack to another cylinder.

If the problem is still there after all 3 of those tests, then you are down to an injector problem or possible compression problem. Like a broken valve spring or something.

Pull the valve cover and check the valve spings, early 6.2 have been known to break springs.

Past that it could be compression related or a fuel injector problem.
