Looked up tenneco shocks on the web. Thats whats stock on my z71 I believe. They also make monroe and rancho shocks. Looking at the monroe reflex shocks according to the website are the same as the rancho rsx shocks.

Has anyone tried the monroe reflex shocks? Any know the difference between the rancho rsx and the monroe reflex shocks.

It lists sears as being a dealer for monroe shocks, maybe I'll give them a call.

cant tell you the difference but the monroes are nice shocks. My dad got a set for his S-10 at sears. THey were on sale and a very good price (forget the exact price but i am thinking 29.99 ea.)

I recently put reflex on my '97 K1500. In my opinion, they are a little soft. I had the factory bilsteins and they were stiffer. If I had it to do over again I would save a few extra dollars and put the bilsteins back on. Just my 2 cents.

Was wondering if anyone knew the Monroe equivilant shock series to the stock shocks that came with the Z85 HD suspension pkg. I chk'ed with the dealer here and they quoted me some crazy price of $160 a corner for the Z85 Shocks. I am pretty sure that Monroe is the mfg and would like to buy a set to upgrade my Z83 suspension to reduce bounce while towing.

Thanks for any info you guys can lend.
