My Fascia skid plate is chrome plastic and is cracked.  I want to replace it but I am not sure how it is removed and put back on.  Do I need to remove the bumper?  It appears to be slid into the air dam with tabs.  Any info would be greatly appreciated.

What the hell, did they just leave the bucket there in a parking lot like that? Crazy.

If its similar to a lot of GM products, there are probably a combo of clips and U nut (speed nut) connections. You should be able to get under there and remove some underbody plastic to see what is on the back side of it. Probably could see/feel all the connections and remove them, then pull the piece away. I would go ahead and order the new one and use that to see where all the connections are.

They did, I didn't realize it was there and could not see it when in the truck.  I pulled forward and it was right in front of my truck.  I was lucky because I was going really slow, all it did was crack that chrome plastic piece.  Could of been much worse.

I would hope the contractor is paying for that piece since they didn't put any cones around it.

You need to pull the fog lamps outs. Behind them is one bolt on each side that holds the corners of the skid plate in. Since the old one is garbage it’s easier to use side cutter pliers to cut the tabs that hold the rest of the plate on. Some you maybe able to pry on so the tab releases. Get the new one first for comparison. This is what I used after the dealer put the front plate on even thou I told them not to.
