I have seen where people have tried it and said it worked really well. GThey said the water just sheeted off in seconds and was dry. They said the cost was aroud $20 for the kit. All I know about it! I just wonder if it leaves a residue on the paint after it dries.

Home garden hose, a chamois and some good polish (like Zaino) is all I need

kind of takes the fun out of cleaning the truck...i would gladly spend the hours to get rid of water spots and other things...xtra time away from the gf...you just have to find a positive way of looking at it...quality time with your truck and quality time away from your loved ones...

My dad got some stuff from a guy in his truck club that doesn't require water. Just spray it on and wipe it off with a terry towel. Works alright, but looks like garbage if you miss ANY. It's called Dri-wash I think. It even gets bugs off better than if you used plain 'ol soap and water.

 

I haven't used this on my truck, have a few free washes at a local automatic wash place. Plan on spreading them out for the rest of the winter and just washing by hand when it warms up...

well you can wash more cars than.

 

you save lets say 30-45min drying time to put on wax so you can put more coats of wax on a day

 

I am a person of efficiency. This products helps greatly It drives me crazy when something isnt being done eficiently

Dri-Wash has been around quite a while. There is a guy in the Vette community that has been a dealer for years - Del Bruce

 

I hear it works good, but have never tried it myself.

I'm really happy with Zaino and when I am done washing my car all I do is take off the nozzle and sheet 80% of the water off. With Zaino on the cars/truck the water sheets off very nicely and I just dry off what doesn't with an absorber or 100% cotton towel and no water spots. I don't know anyone that has used it though so I couldn't comment on any opinions...be nice to hear what people think though.

My buddy has a new Maxima that is black... VERY hard to keep water marks off. He used this system and said it worked GREAT, even on a new black car... no watermarks. I think I might try this out...

From what my detail shop told me was that the minerals in tap water is what causes the water spots to form. All the mister clean does is filter out the minerals so it wont leave a deposit on the paint.

My sierra is black and the only time it starts to spot on me really bad is when I havent waxed it recently.
