Auxbeam led Help

I installed a full set of auxbeam led bulbs in my truck and for whatever reason they made the lowbeam bulb to tall so you have to cut a hole in the dustcover to reinstall. Now my problem is water is constantly getting in even after putting silicone around the bulb edge to seal it condensation still gets in through the fan on the bulb im assuming since it pokes through the cover a bit. Has anybody come up with a taller dustcover or better solution ive had the front end of my truck torn apart 3 times now trying to tinker with this problem!!!
